Gunn Memorial Library to host book author and life coach Jennifer Jeffreys Dove

The Gunn Memorial Public Library in Yanceyville will host local author Jennifer Jeffreys Dove on Saturday, February 19 from 10 a.m. to noon. Jeffreys Dove will meet readers, perform a book signing and discuss his book, Ready for More: A Woman’s Guide to Becoming Fearlessly Authentic and the coaching program, Align to Elevate.

Caswell County is a special place for Jennifer, who was born and raised in Caswell County and graduated from Bartlett Yancey High School and Piedmont Community College.

2021 has been an amazing year for this Milton native. She wrote and self-published her first book, Ready for More: A Woman’s Guide to Becoming Fearlessly Authentic, and she began working to launch a coaching program for high-performing women. The book, Ready for More, is a personal development book that helps its readers prepare for life’s changes and pivot when necessary. “People who read Ready for More should be prepared to examine every part of their life and identify areas where they have not been true to themselves. It’s like holding a mirror up to your life and taking a look honest about the changes you may need to make,” said Jeffreys Dove. “This book is my contribution to women who find themselves in a situation similar to the one I found myself in, looking for a better life. fulfilling and authentic. We often find that we reach a precipice in our lives where we have to change, either by choice or by force.

Following the book’s success, Jeffreys Dove, also a certified life coach, is launching a coaching program for high-performing women based on the book’s principles. The program, titled Align to Elevate, will launch late this spring and teaches women how to boost their confidence, clarify and pursue their passions, and show their power so they can elevate their lives both personally and professionally. “There are a lot of professional women here who have reached what many others may consider the pinnacle of success; they have advanced in their careers, they seem to be well-connected and are often seen as thought leaders in their industries, but many of them are plagued by perfectionism, lack clarity on their priorities and are unhappy with the way which they are perceived. Align to Elevate helps them recognize and overcome these challenges so they can take it to the next level.”

The Gunn Memorial Public Library is located at 161 E. Main St. in Yanceyville. Call the library at 336-694-6241 for more information about this program or to have your questions answered. In order to ensure a safe environment for all participants, social distancing will be practiced.
